I SACRIFICED HOSTEL FEES TO PAY FOR THE ‘CINYA’ HIT IT HAS NEVER BEEN ABOUT THE MONEY MY MUSIC SPEAKS FOR ITSELF - FREDDIE LINE AHEAD OF NEW MUSIC DROP

Sensational West Nile singer, Freddieline, formerly a duo partner with Hope Wakanda, recently re-introduced himself to the Industry as a Solo artist, a move that has sparked a lot of debate amongst local music critics. The singer has since gone on to announce the “Made in Mvara” EP which he says is a dedication to a place called Mvara (In Arua) that has shaped his entire life; Off it, he so far  unleashed one track “Ale” accompanied with smashing visuals that has been making rounds on both local and  national media.
However after this video drop and its success, some critics have come out saying Freddieline influences the media using money and therefore his following is not genuine, something that has not sat well with the Mvara bred vocalist.
Speaking to this media, Freddie expresses disappointment in such school of thought. “There is a wrong mindset among my people who think anything good has to involve money. This is not true because I have had a team of people who believe in my art and dedicated themselves to helping me push it, without expecting anything in return”.

The vocalist

He flashes back to his early studio days where he had to sacrifice part of his school budget in order to afford studio time, and also days he had to reason with producers and initiate projects without any deposits.
“I literally used up my hostel fee to pay for that ‘Cinya’ song. Not only that but I never owned a graduation gown because I used the money for a photo shoot for the ‘Tandi’ song! All these are sacrifices we make towards the art”.
“With the recent ‘Ale’ video, we simply teamed up with Steve Sugar who happens to be a fellow West Niler and so we worked on brotherly terms. The whole team on ground kept it simple, feeding on Enyasa and eggs – including the models!” Freddie adds laughing. Additionally his team sacrificed a lot in terms of human resource to see that this is achieved.
He says most of the views on this video came from Nairobi (Kenya), yet he had huge expectations in his West Nile people.  About the TV airplay, Freddie reveals that he reached out to  DVJ Mercy of NBS who appreciated the piece so much, saying this is the type of content they need from West Nile.
Therefore the boy from Mvara rubbishes claims

attention and airplay for his music.
All this comes at a time when Freddie is unleashing the second project off the “Made in Mvara” E.P. The song ‘Full package’ is yet another afro urban vibration produced by Father Joshman perfection.
In it, Freddie paints the picture of this girl whom he can’t stop thinking and dreaming about, she is ‘full package’.  He goes all out heaping praises on her beauty, waist and behavior saying there is nothing like her and everyday it is her he wants! With a little flavor added to the Lugbara ti, finely blending with that Joshman magic, even West Africa has to vibe to this. The beauty is that it comes out ‘Full Package’ with the visuals dropping early next week. Get ready to be taken on another amazing tour of what West Nile music has to offer..  Straight from Mvara indeed!
