The boba boda riders of Arua City have today undertaken an organised operation to hunt and lynch thieves who are believed to be well known in and around town. The idea of the thief hunt operation came in at a time where the City is at a state of highest insecurity caused by thieves and robbers,especially those who ride bikes while snatching goodies from the hands of pedestrians. As early as seven o'clock in the evening has of late been a time too late to still be on the road as these sharp goons are always ready to make you part ways with your precious property, a smartphone being the highest target.
The public looked on with excitement as the boda boda riders traversed through town and certain hiding places to locate their culprits. By the time Tonetouch newsdesk team reached to scenes of the incidences, three thieves were already confirmed beaten to death by the boys as several others were rescued by the central police.The police also cooperated with the boys to carry out various arrests.
It should be noted that the the vice of theft and burglary in the city is alarming as various thieves have been mercilessly killed in inhuman ways including burning to death.
