After sold-out episodes in Mbale and FortPortal, the much anticipated Capital Fm's National tour 2022 is finally set to happen in Arua.
Uganda's Fresh hits station is set to bring its whole bag of entertainment to the West Nile Episode of the fun tour happening at Hotel Santa Maria on the 30th of September.
According to reliable sources, the Event shall be headlined by big acts like Eddy Kenzo, Fik Fameica, Jackie Chandiru, Coco Finger, Ezzy and West Nile Artists like Quin Gee, Vairas, Gbaraspoken, Fat A and also feature Capital FM's vibrant presenters like Gaetano and Lucky, Flavia, Levy and music by DJ Wills.
However, a section of fans and netizens have received the news of the National Tour with negative feelings citing that Capital radio that broadcasts in Arua on the frequency 92.7 has never considered playing any West Nile song although the station broadcasts in the region as well.
"We shall attend the event on condition that you play songs of the west nile artists who are going to perform" reads a comment from a netizen.
"Quin Gee, Vairus, Fat A, their names can only be heard on Capital fm when they're advertising the concert" a netizen jokes.
This is the first of its kind the National Tour is happening in Arua. It last happened in Northern Uganda in 2020 at Pece Stadium Gulu.
