Dj Lavy TheNiler is a music producer, Song writer, Recording artist, Dancer, Influencer and a very versatile Disc Jockey, playing almost all genres of Music e.g Afrobeat, Afro Pop, Afro House, RnB, Hip Pop, Trap, Garage,House, Tecno, Afro Congo, EDM, Clubs reggea, Dancehall, reagaton etc. He is a Ma'di born of Metu PadiGa, Lives in Adjumani Grew up in Arua. Dj Lavy TheNiler is formally identified as Manya Glory, he happens to be a first born in family of 5 (4Boys and a girl), Mom is Ababiku Rosemary and father was Lou Godfrey who unfortunately passed away in 2000 from the UPDF military force may the soul rest in peace. He studied from Pereci, Pakele Girls and finished primary in St Kizito Ediofe Primary School Arua in 2009, Sat for 'O' level from Moyo Town Secondary School in 2013 then Joined Moyo S.S briefly for 'A' Level before opting out due to tuition fee difficulties, Later Did certificate in ICT and also tried joining Nursing Course but due to Tuition he couldn't continue so currently he is pursuing a Music Production course at ESOM school of Music Kampala. Dj Lavy TheNiler started making appearances in music industry from childhood as he could go around with the village band (Ayije group) of PadiGa in by then the Kerelu village of Pakele sub county to play some melodic instruments during performances. He performed with the band in various occasions mostly being election event parties and marriage occasions, among others, in early 2000s. He was later taken to Orphanage School in Arua in 2006, sponsored by the late Bishop Frederick Drandua may his Soul rest eternally 🙏. By 2012 due to his too much love for dancing, he started stage performances doing break dances and mimes to curtain raise club shows and earning some little money to support with school basic needs, he even performed with Silver X during official opening of Dreams Club Moyo, he also appeared in music videos of General Surambaya as a dancer, in 2013 he founded the Xtrial Performers Crew of around 15 members in Moyo that includes the Current Jhail, Wiz Tempah and many others managed by Uncle Babs of by then Voice Of The Nile. They would stage a day show every Sundays at the by then Monkey City of Opiro. The group later quit as others started doing music recordings like Jhail and Wiz Tempah, Dj Lavy by then was already DJing but took it seriously after the group ended, he started playing for a crowd from Monkey City by then with Dj Tende who used to play Mure in the club and the only Dj who ever did that 😂😂😂 Lavy then later got a deal as an official Dj for a public address sound system in Gaza of Mr Rob Stephen playing in almost every corners of Moyo district crossing upto Kajo Keji in South Sudan. Clubs he has worked as a Dj in Moyo include; Monkey City(2013/14) part time in Dreams Club, Capital Gardens with Mr Manzu Robinson. By 2016 he left DJing for a job deal in Arua with by then victory/wolf betting company. Lavy recorded his first music dubbed "Enzo Onzi" in 2017 from Arua produced by Depan at by then DCN records of Nsambya, followed by "Work" with Joshman Perfection at same studio. These two songs got him hosted live on Radio Pacis 90.9 FM Arua. He later released 2 more songs in 2022 "Shake" featuring XBit Maggie and then "Yoo Time" with Skillah Baibe. He resumed with DJing in Oasis Dynasty as part time job on transfer to Adjumani by the betting company as a Region Manager for Moyo and Adjumani districts in 2017/18. Unfortunately by the end of the year he was transferred to Koboko and returned back permanently to DJing in 2019 again at Oasis Dynasty of Adjumani till lockdown, after which he traveled to Mbarara for another job with Coca Cola CBC till 2021 and later joined a Nursing institution in Mbarara 2022 before opting out due to Financial support.
