Engineer Aluma Benard AKA seaborn, the proprietor of seaborn Engineering skills limited today on 30th/09/2022 has launched a New football club (SEABORN STAR FC) which will be playing in division five in yumbe district.
Seaborn star football club comprising of football players drawn From Arafa sub-county (yumbe) of the developed unit will be playing their First competitive football match in 2022/23 football season at pajama primary school playground this weekend.
Speaking during the launch of newly established 5th division football club (seaborn star football club), the club president engineer Benerd said, to a total of upto 30 players were selected From yumbe,koboko,maracha and Terego. This he Said is inlined with the promise he made to his people in 2021 to integrate sports and culture in the region.
People of yumbe district finally got their request answered, “ we are isolated here in the area, football clubs are very far yet there's aboundant talented young boys in the area, seaborn star football club is going to scout and nature talents amongst the upcoming footballers in this area ” Engineer Aluma Benerd added.
According to seaborn star football club work plan, young players will advance their skills in on and off the pitch, developing their technical , physical , mental and social capabilities through age specific coaching sessions.
A wide range of year round program planned, including ongoing player development sessions and soccer schools in the holiday season.
The club also be on focus on improving key life skills of the young participants, such as as communication, teamwork, decision making, problem solving and organisation.
According to BM football Agency's county representative Mr Bamuke Derrick Hertlego, the company aims to tap raw local talent development in Uganda, and seaborn star football club in yumbe provides the opportunity for them.
Meanwhile the team unveiled their homekit for their median season, the kit is yellow, with black stripes with mini sponsor ( The seaborn skills engineering LTD).
