Warriors shot an old man with bow and arrow for not surrendering his cattle

Insecurity in karamoja subregion is getting out of hands following the ruthless invasion of karamoja by Turkana cattle rustlers and warriors from Kenya.

An unidentified old man was attacked at his home on the night of Monday 6th of March in Alekerek subcounty Abim district by cattle rustlers (warriors).

The warriors shot the Old Man with bow and arrow after he refused to surrender his cattle to them.

They resorted to use bow and arrow to avoid community around and security from noticing what was taking place.

A day before, Uganda joint security forces had handed over couple of suspected Turkana cattle rustlers (warriors) to Mr 𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞 the county secretary for Turkana county government in the republic of Kenya by Brig Gen. 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐢.

This peaceful handover took place at moroto Army barracks by Brig.Gen 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐢
