Each year atleast uganda recieves and hosts upto 5 foreign musicians in the country for their music shows and concerts, Hence foreign music has since covered the Ugandan Airwaves in particular Nigerian music.
However, the UMA president and incumbent Cindy sanyu has taken it to the consideration and held up a meeting with the minister of constitutonal afairs Hon Nobert Mao and represented to him the challenges faced by the Ugandan Artists as the result of foreign Artists invasion of Uganda.
Cindy sanyu therefore asked Mao to regulate the inflow of foreign musicians so as Ugandan Artists should do there trade marks freely in their own country.
Cindy also requested the DJ's , TV stations, Radio stations and other media houses to concentrate much on playing Ugandan music.
