Rastor Berenge is one of the legendary and longest-serving Artists of Madi who started his musical journey way back in the year 2011 with a song called [ombili]. In a one-on-one interview with onzia Dan, when the Rastor man was asked about the challenges the artists face in Madi Okollo, He said for an artist in Madi Okollo to produce good quality audio, one has to travel up to Arua to Malcolm records and produce with joshman perfection or else you have to go up to Nebbi to produce good quality audio. Rastor Berenge who is also a driver said it's therefore costly hence they have to move From Madi okollo to Arua or Nebbi. Rastor Berenge now calls for the responsible stakeholders and well-wishers to at least establish an audio recording studio within Madi okollo to curb the issue of poor production.
Berenge also revealed that the people of Madi are not supportive of the artists of madi okollo which has also contributed to the slow rise of Madi music compared to the other regions in west Nile.
