The superlative trending Musical label owners “Master Hope De Evidence & Mc Zzani Lom” are about to put pen on paper with a new talent Rubby Baibe. The team Xtra soundz (Xtra marketing & promotions) is an afro Dancehall artiest after having brought up many shining stars like Phify music, Asha Dmk & Dj Coin. Currently the team has only one signing “Dj Coin.”
However, our Tone Touch Media Team landed on this story after Dj Ogoro a commonly known local Dj in the Refugee Settlement of Nyumanzi in Dzaipi Sub-County, Adjumani District blasted the so-called Xtra Sounds Marketing & Promotions. He claimed that these are the stingy & dishonest Yetunde Boys. He warns & says,
“Don’t be deceived that Xtra Sounds is a new establishment in West Nile Music industry, these are the same Stingy, unethical & conmen of Yetunde Boys”.
Whereas the impending Lawyer & Chief Executive Officer of Xtra Sounds, Ambayo Jimmy rubbished the accusations and Confirmed to Tone Touch Media during our Exclusive interview that, it’s true they have quitted Yetunde Media team & established their own Brand dubbed “Xtra Sounds Marketing & Promotions”. He narrates,
“That’s one of the reasons as to why we have left Yetunde with Mc Zzani, Dj Coin & established our own Brand known as Xtra Sounds. The Unique things we have in Xtra Sounds is that we normally sign a year contract with talented, vocalist artists, Dj’s, Mc’s. As Xtra Sounds we look forward to signing more artists in Northern Uganda & Westnile but we don’t want top established Artists. I had no Artist signed when I was in Yetunde, the person I had was my Ex.Girl Friend (Asha Dmk), she’s now a phenomenal Artist in West Nile Music Industry through my effort while I was in Yetunde.
Our terms & conditions are very simple, For Mc’s, we need an Mc that can pull crowd, Artists with clean vocals, Dj’s who knows Transitions. The benefit of this label is that Artists have the opportunities for free Audio & video production, exposure & photo-shoot out of each show, we need 30% only”.
“We have a team that whenever we have a show, they make sure it sells everywhere, we still have our strategy & protocols in Xtra Sounds as we have been doing in Yetunde. The two of us (Mc Zzani & Master hope De Evidence” were the ones laying the strategy in Yetunde. We came out with everything e.g., the brain & everything that we had invested in Yetunde.” He added.
He defied that Yetunde have organized only one event since they have left them, it was Yetunde Media Annual Award 2022/2023 where it failed badly & botched to pay those who won the awards from different categories, he continued to say they had over twenty shows as they were in Yetunde but currently Yetunde Media is a flop & can no longer organize such heavy events in the region. He urged that, they are doing well as Extra Sounds & have so far organized two heavy successful events e.g., Madi Festivals & currently have an upcoming Event at Marakom Launch.
Dj Coin, one of the signed Official Dj of Xtra Sounds, said Xtra Sound is looking forward to signing more talents and cited “Rubby Baibe” who’s an upcoming artist yet to sign a year contract deal with Xtra Sounds. He continued to challenge Yetunde Media as in his report he states,
“I have never benefited to the expectations when I was in Yetunde, in fact the three of us, Mc Zani, Master Hope de Evidence & i were the brain behind Yetunde Events setup. Currently the only admin I know is Londu Emmanuel, yet we were over twenty guys”.
Dj Coin doubles as the official Dj of Xtra Sounds & Heritage Launch in Adjumani District Opposite Awindiri Market, he thanked Xtra Sounds for the opportunity he acquired in Juba previously as the official Dj of Celebrity Club in Muniki, Juba South Sudan in 2022.
