The President of Uganda, his excellence Yoweri Kaguta Museveni's itinerary includes visits to model farms in the districts of Nebbi, Madi-Okollo, Arua City, Obongi & Adjumani, engagements with local leaders and business community, inspection of value-addition exhibition (organized by Uganda Investment Authority) and two meet-the-people rallies (in Arua City and Obongi).

While reaching in Obongi District today, President's speech was cut off by Heavy Rain as he retaliated the people of Obongi to get more information about his speech from the Authorities of Arua where he spoke alot during his rally.

The locals in Obongi cited the abrupt rain fall being sent by the Madi_Clan Chiefs.

“How can we only have heavy downpour only in Obongi at the time of President's speech, infact the rain isn't the whole part of Obongi District, by the way  the rest of the part of the Sub-Region ain't having rainfall at this time e.g Moyo, Adjumani & the rest". His name is withheld due to other circumstances.

They continued to say Madi Clan Chiefs are pleading for recognition from the president where they aren't always being recognized by the president as a team but rather an individual when they make communication to his office. "Drani Stephen the Paramount Chief's phone was off by the time of gathering this story as Tonetouch media was trying to reach him".

The parish Development Model (PDM) fund that the president talked about, is targeted at small players in the agriculture sector.
He says" This so that we get as many people as possible to be players and not spectators in the money economy".

He argued that Westnile will soon be connected to the stable national electricity grid, as Roads from Rhino Camp to Obongi upto Laropi will soon be termarked as well as Laropi-Koboko via Moyo & Yumbe, same as Moyo-Afoji Border.

During the Presidential Westnile 2023 tour, His Excellence also commissioned a multi Billion Project in Pakele Sub-County Adjumani District meant for empowering thousands of unemployed youth in the three districts of Mad'i sub-region as the it's established under the presidential initiative for an industrial zonal hub.
