FIVE INMATES PERISH IN A NASTY ACCIDENT ALONG KAMPALA GULU HIGHWAY

At Least five prison inmates have died on spot and scores Injured when the truck they were travelling in lost control in Luwero district along Kampala-Gulu highway. The Uganda prisons Truck is said to have consisted of 54 Prison inmates and 12 warders on board enroute to a community service assigned to the inmates. Major cause of the accident still remains a speculation as the police are yet to intervene. Details of the vehicle and the deceased inmates have not been established by press time.
