Mid last week on 25th August 2022, The president of the people's republic of Uganda H.E Yoweri kaguta musevni announced to the general public the death of the late Gen Elly Tumwine, Elly passed away at agahkan international Hospital to lung cancer according to Mr president.
Tumwine's death has now Left only 8 original Bush fighters (27guns) with president musevni and Paul kagame inclusive.
However, in a dramatic turn of events, Ugandans were instead jubilating and celebrating the death of the late Gen Elly Tumwine in social media. Cynthia Tumwine a doughter to the deceased therefore asked the Ugandans to forgive her late Father, she said He might have spoken some Bad words to people when he was still alive, But before He died in Nairobi, he forgave everyone.
