The deputy resident city commissioner Mr Adomati Dickson on 24/01/2022 commissioned the long long awaited Arua central market. The modern market which houses up to 5012 vendor's and has lock ups,stalls, banking mall, pharmacy, toilets, electricity,water, television sets camera, various offices etc. Accommodates various commodity sectors like produce, dry fish,meat second hand clothes, general merchandise etc costs the government of Uganda 34.9bn shillings. The Head of finance Arua City who is also the market master and incharge adminstration and settlement of market vendors in the New market. Mr Adriiko Sam thanked the government of Uganda for improving the revenue of Arua City.
