Amidst the overwhelming commodity prices and a struggling economy of the country (Uganda) with debt of 53% of GDP and 6.3% inflation,
Government has spent over Â£525,000 which is approximately 2.4 billion Uganda shillings to buy two luxurious mecedes bench cars for the speaker of parliament and her Deputy. An incident which has kept the eye brows of the citizens raised high up, many have cautioned the government to instead curb the high prices of commodities, poor Education and infrastructure development other than splashing money on issues that matters less.
